It has been a busy spring and summer for Kendall College’s own Christopher Koetke, CEC, CCE, executive director of The School of Culinary Arts and vice present of Laureate International Universities Center of Excellence in Culinary Arts. This spring he was presented with the Outstanding Alumni Award by his alma mater, Dominican University’s Brennan School of Business, located in River Forest, Ill. Koetke received his MBA degree from Dominican in 2007.
Koetke was honored again, in late July, when he was inducted as an honorary member of the American Culinary Federation (ACF) American Academy of Chefs at the ACF National Convention in Dallas. The honor society of the ACF, the American Academy of Chefs represents the highest standards of professionalism in the organization, society and industry. The designation recognizes those individuals who have made significant contributions to both the culinary profession and the ACF. Fellows are nominated by AAC members, and then selected by a committee.
