Early Childhood Education Grads Earn High Honors

On Friday, June 22, 2012, seven Kendall College graduating seniors were inducted into the Alpha Zeta Sigma chapter of Kappa Delta Pi (KDP) Honor Society. KDP is an International Honor Society in Education, founded by Dr. William Bagley in 1911 at the University of Illinois. Kendall College recently joined this group comprised of 582 chapters and more than 45,000 members.

School of Education graduates Kimberly Feigel, Victoria Love, Wendy Mercy, Michelle Niemeyer, Jessica Peterson, Linda Schreck and Ruth VanDuzer were inducted into the KDP Honor Society for their hard work, dedication and leadership throughout their tenure here at the College. These students have proven their passion and yearn to teach, and will continue to act as role models as they embark on their new journeys.

As part of the KDP Honor Society, these seven Kendall alumnae will gain access to its programs, services and products which support and enhance the professional growth and teaching practices of its members throughout all phases of their teaching careers. This support is essential to retaining the best and brightest professionals in the field of education.
